2013 Lineman’s Rodeo

2013 Lineman’s Rodeo LADWP and IBEW Local 18 would like to invite you to the 2013 Lineman’s Rodeo. This year’s event will take place on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at the LADWP EDM Training Center, 11760 Truesdale Street, Sun Valley, CA 91352. The vendor fee is $450.

The rodeo will start at 8:00 AM and will end at 3:00 PM with the product raffle and ceremony to follow. If you need my assistance, I will be on location the day before the rodeo and the early morning the day of the rodeo.

The Rodeo Committee is looking for items from the various vendors participating in the rodeo. If your company supplies hand tools, lineman supplies, clothing, or a variety of products a lineman would like, the committee would greatly appreciate the donation. The donations help supplement the items the Rodeo Committee purchases for the raffle.

The vendor area surrounds the rodeo grounds and will accommodate trailer-mounted displays. We also have electrical outlets available. For anything other than a standard tent display or the need for special accommodations please contact me at the telephone numbers listed below.

You will not need to bring your own tents. Tents, tables, and chairs are provided. The tents provided are, 10 x 10 easy ups.

There will be banner spots for a maximum size of 4’ x 10’ available for High Visibility Advertising. The vendor banners will be installed on various locations throughout the rodeo grounds. The vendor banner spot is included with the sponsor fee. Your sponsorship will be announced throughout the day.

Thank you, to all of the vendors, who have participated in the past, your participation is very important to the Rodeo. It gives you, the vendors, the chance to meet with the people who use your products and at the same time it gives the users of your products the opportunity to give you feedback on tools and products. The Rodeo is advertised and open to the utilities in California and all those who are willing to travel; which also gives you the opportunity to meet and make new contacts. There are no profits. All proceeds go to a bigger and better rodeo each year.

Lunch will be provided for all vendors who attend. Make checks payable to the "Linemans Rodeo Fund". RSVP as soon as possible. This will give me the chance to organize and give you, the vendor, and the best possible location to accommodate you.
